This week's theme is Do Your Own Thing/Outtakes. My wisteria bloomed nicely again this year, but they're gone. Now the roses are starting to bloom.
Is it my imagination, or are flowers blooming earlier than they used to?

Here, many flowers have been slow. Our cherry blossoms are just reaching full bloom.
Funny thing, the early-blooming cherry blossoms were 2 weeks later than last year, but the usual somei yoshino bloomed earlier

ABSOLUTELY things are budding out earlier than normal! In our local newspaper there is a section of the weather page called "Growing Degree Days". This is an index used to estimate crop maturity. Today is showed 595 for the season to date, versus 151 as average.
