How was your day?
Today sucked big green donkey d!ck5.
Cowboy has been complaining about needing a new phone. And while he is it making one change, he thought it would be good to change phone carriers to save a little money.
I spent 3 hours keeping him calm and the bloody phones are still not functional. You can make a call but no texting.
Which is my main form of communication.
And Cowboy can't access his email, etc.
I'm fed up. Long day and it doesn't work properly.
Cowboy is aggravated because now he doesn't have a reason to have the phone in his hand 24/7.
And the flippin store is over an hour away.
I told him while he was there to return mine and I will go elsewhere. Or go without.
I'm tired of the BS. His and the various phone companies.
So in honor of feeling f*d 6 ways to Sunday, I present a new way to play Connect 4.
Y'all have fun. I'm going to go exercise my potty mouth.

Scary. Especially as I am planning to switch companies too at the end of the month.
The worst part is transferring all the stuff from our old phones to the new phones. Even though they are the same brand, they don't seem to speak the same language, LOL.

I am so sorry that happened to you both. I hope your both able to get new phones that work for the both of you. And don't worry about venting as we all need to do this at times.

Sorry for all the frustrations. I imagine out there in the boonies cell service is a bit dicey. Even here my phone goes into "wifi calling" whenever I'm down in the basement. Of late I just defer all the technology decisions to my son. Even if he's NOT buying he spends hours reading about this stuff, so why not?
Our oldest son is the same way. He is up on all the new tech so we use his brain often

Cowboy uses his often. I text and sometimes talk. If I want to be online, I use my laptop. Big screen and keyboard, hehehe.

I have my phone more for emergencies but in todays environment everything has an app and I hate changing providers for the simple reason what happened to cowboy.. but I have an idea on how u can exercise your so called potty mouth hugs dear

My phone needs are very basic - the occasional call and text is all I do on my phone.

I feel your pain. I would explode if my phone were to misfire like that. I made a call to my carrier last month to complain about my rates, and service and blah... blah. They lowered my monthly by twelve bucks (yay!) and threw in a free movie-streaming service.
I was only slightly annoyed: it was too easy, and took six minutes. Is it too late to go to your old provider and niggle them for what you need? 😶
Keep an eye on the movie streaming service. They might start charging after so many months. I have heard horror stories.

Oh no! My husband changed our internet from 2.4 to 5G a few months ago. It made every stinkin' electronic device we own go down! Printer, security camera, generator, etc.... He was on the phone with HP and Verizon for hours and hours! I hope you guys figure it out. So aggravating.
I recently upgraded my iPhone because I wanted better zoom on my camera for safari. Almost everything transferred seamlessly. There were a few glitches that took patience to iron out.
The major annoyance is that the rep told me there would be a $300 trade-in credit for my old phone, but it wasn't reflected at all on the first bill I received. No way I was dealing with customer service on the phone so I went to the store - luckily only a half mile away. The ticket they submitted still hasnt' been resolved though.
They need to get that credit pushed thru!! Trade in credits play a part in peoples decisions. I wish you the best of luck!!

While I've changed phones several times over the years, I've stayed with the same carrier since they're the cheapest yet reliable (most of the time unless I go way out in the boonies).
We have only had 2 carriers in 26 years. The last switch was hard and this one lived up to the chaos.

Don't get me started on phone companies! I still carry a flip phone. I love it. They want me to upgrade to a smart phone. I don't want the aggravation of them. I like exercising my potty mouth from time to time....air out your lungs!
I still have my original flip phone. I will charge it and scroll thru the pictures. I miss those days.
