How are you?
I met my new endocrinologist today. He seemed intelligent and very kind. He was greatly relieved that I am not a new diagnosis. I am very well informed about my own health. And he agreed that I am stable and medically boring - no chaos. Just the way we want to be 
Tonight Oklahoma University Sooners played their first football game against UTEP - University of Texas El Paso. We won. 51-0 if memory serves. It was such an easy game we were all yakking and being silly. We love football. And we love being together even more.
Dinner ended up being a feast. I made Mexican ground beef, spicy beans, Mexican corn, Spanish rice, guacamole. There were chips, tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, shredded cheese, limes. The kids made margaritas. Dessert was a glorious nutella, pie crust creation in the shape of a football, courtesy of my beloved DIL. You could make yourself tacos, nachos or a bowl. Oh how we pigged out.
Amen for family, football and food.
And every day there are more games

I had new new endocrinologist a few weeks ago. The old one was okay, but our visits were like "Your test results are okay, keep taking the tablets" every time. The new one is like a whirlwind, asking questions, checking results, ordering a battery of new tests (I swear the phlebotomist drew out nearly an armful of blood), and generally wants to know what is behind my condition. It's a refreshing change.
I have Hashimoto's. My immune system attacked my thyroid and killed it. Revolutionary war in my body, LOL. So we know why things went awry for me. I'm very lucky that my health seems to stay balanced.

I know right!!! We're still over 100o each day. Our evenings are getting a little cooler. By the end of the month, it should be somewhat pleasant outside. I hope, LOL.

Our oldest and her family came over last night and brought pizza. We all work full time, except for Hubby, but he cooks all the time, and needs a break, too. It was great getting super tight hugs from the little ones before I start my medical journey. Today, I received a flower delivery from same daughter. The card read, "Sorry about your Shitty Titty". I have never laughed so hard.
LOLOL Thats a great way to label it!! Your daughter is sharp!
Any night with family is good. Add pizza and it is better. Nobody has to cook or fuss. Everybody gets to enjoy one another. It's a big win situation.
For the record, I am very sorry about your shitty titty too.

Amen to being medically boring, that is the best kind of update. Sounds like you found an endocrinologist who actually listens, which is a gift. Football, good food, and everyone together… hard to beat. Enjoy the weekend, Pony.
