Winner Or Loser
A winner makes mistakes and says, “I was wrong”. A loser says, “It wasn’t my fault”.
A winner shows he’s sorry by making up for it. A loser says he’s sorry but he does the same thing next time.
A winner knows what to fight for and what to compromise on. A loser compromises on what he should not and fights for what isn’t worth fighting for.

It is doubtful a real loser would vote loser. So, the results don't seem very surprising to me.
All those qualities you mentioned for a winner are also qualities of wisdom. A person that does not blame others can self correct and better themselves. Often people that always blame others for their mistakes don't think of others ahead of themselves. When criticized I always take a moment to consider if the other person is correct. They are not akways correct and that is ok. But if they are I need to change. It is a learned thing not a natural response. The natural response is to blame others.
