It's true that this site has begun a down slide for some time now. Where ever I turn i can "hear" people complaining, and not unjustly. I can only hope that the damage can still be reversible, though I wouldn't put my bets on it seeing the facts.
On another note now, I can say I will really miss your posts, being one of the few people I really find interesting and enjoying interacting with in here. But I can totally understand your feelings about the whole situation here and you are right about it.
So, all I can say is I hope to see you back again here and a secret hope that some developer in here will listen to people's complaints, finally, and react accordingly to that.
It's been a fan ride all that time, I hope for you as much as it was for all of us...
