Hello Aura. I was a life drawing teacher for more than 30 years. Over that time there have been hundreds of life models. I have always regarded models as being very special people, and many of them became very close friends. Many shared time outside the studio, discussing such things as writers, art history, psychology, sciences, history, and the nature of the creative process. I suspect you too woulde be stimulating like that. I see you craft your self-presentation with an aesthetic awareness, and love of art. My name is Tony.

I’m so glad you’re part of the group now: welcome! I’m sure that with your experience your comments will be interesting for all of us.
You know, many years ago I was the favorite model of a university professor who taught Life Drawing (Dibujo del Natural). I was 25 when I met him, although I continued posing for him from time to time for another three years. The whole world of painters, sketch artists, and models has always fascinated me. In fact, I was also the model for my husband’s best friend, who is a draftsman and painter, for more than twenty years.
But I talk about all those things here in the group, and also in many posts on my blog. I’m really looking forward to reading your comments, and you know that if you’d like to share your drawings, photographs, or experiences here, they’ll be more than welcome.
