elissa says she didn’t go into it with high expectations (‘I did this so everyone could laugh at my bad decisions, not to help anyone else with theirsâ€&trade but actually came away with a boyfriend.

But she does have some stipulations when it comes to dating: ‘I also had this rule about what constitutes a date: it had to be one where we go out and enjoy each other’s company, eat food and not just hang out in awkward ‘getting to know each other’ situations.’

elissa said one of the best dates was when she met up with a girl she previously crushed on from afar in a bar, and remembered when she showed up on the app.

We’re not quite sure how she found the TIME for all these dates while working a 50 to 60 hour week and also posting reams of write-up on the blog after each date.

That, you have to admire. According to elissa it was through efficient scheduling, such as taking her dog for a walk during the date, and chalking up several on the same day. Fair play.
