~ Here goes another rant so if you do not want to hear it move on...Why is it when you notify someone that you are NOT a booty call, they get pissy & show their ass? ~ People, there is nothing in My profile that eludes to the idea that I am out for booty calls~
~ Get real, read My profile & if you can not, ask, it is that simple, do not assume that everyone is here for booty calls ~ I am not saying that if you want a booty call that is a bad thing, it is your thing Not mine ~ Be respectful of personal preferences, likes & dislikes, in other words BE AN ADULT ! ~ Ranting finished, thank you for reading, Night! ~

To respond or not respond...that is the question

This is something I have thought about often, when someone requests that I respond to their emails even if I am not interested in them.
I have received many missives from individuals, that state that the "cool", "decent", "adult"(you get My point)thing to do, would be to respond to them whether or not I am interested in getting to know them.
The unmitigated gall! Who do they think they are? I did not join this site to be lectured on about My online etiquette or manners. Who made this rule? Why do I have to adhere to it?
If we are all adults, then why can some "adults" not accept that the mere act of Not responding, is in fact a response. It means, ~I Am Not Interested~, get it? Is that so hard to understand?
In many other areas of our lives, no response is often accepted, i.e. letters, phone calls, emails, ect..., why here, do people feel they have the right to demand a response by browbeating the the person they are trying to impress?
I receive many emails (damn that sounded conceited haha) and if there is no spark, I am Not going to waste My limited # of resopnses, on saying "No thank you".
So, to those of you that may want to ad this to your correspondence to Me, know that not only does this make me laugh, but also, you will most likely Not hear back from Me!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but are testimonials not for the sole purpose of letting others know that the person you are writing the testimonial about, is exactly (or very near it) what they say they are?
I do not understand why people use this as a forum to post information or give props (I thought that was what Kudos were intended for???) or or make inane comments... Can anyone enlighten me in this...hahaha
And to all you that have this kind of testimonials posted, no offense intended but I still have to wonder ...why??? haha
Thanks again for any input...I seek only enlightenment, no judgment, just info gathering.

Rather than the typical resolutions that most of us have muttered on this most auspicious of days, I am going to instead, make a "resolution" to really open myself up to more opportunites that will allow me to broaden and expand my spiritual, sexual, and psychological horizons.

After a rather intense back and forth with a certain individual (whom for the sake of privacy will remain unidentified)I find myself wondering...why is it that we always seem want what we can not, do not, or should not have?
Is this the human condition, to refuse to accept that there are just somethings we can not obtain? Neither by force or force of will, dogged persistence, or the thought that we will "wear 'em down" will allow us to prevail.
I know some of you will say "we can have anything we want if work/try hard enough". But is this really true? In some cases, I think not...
I have heard it said that sometimes, the universe gives us the greatest gift in unanswered prayers/wishes. I think I have to agree.....

Why is, I wonder, that every one of the people that have contacted me and mentioned my interest in BDSM have ASSUMED that I am a bottom?
Instead of asking which is it that I prefer, each one has mistakenly made the assumption that I am a bottom and have approached in such a manner...
Is it me or is this rather presumptious of them? As it is, I in most cases, I ignore them.
Are most women bottoms? I have encountered many Dommes, both Pro and non. And while the majority of tops are male, a great many are female, so why assume?
Is there something in my profile that suggests that I am a sub/slave? Just wondering out loud and venting........

Just some randome thoughts on internet encounters:
Guys - why do you ask for more pics? If I had more pics I would have them posted. As for more revealing pics, if I wanted to show you one I would have them ready to whip out. I don't so, please refrain from asking. I have nothing against naughty pics, just do not want any of me floating around. Please understand that I will not "trust" you not to keep them (haha), I have never taken one and am not looking to change that. No judgement on those do have them, I enjoy them, just not for me.
Everyone - Pics...seriously, it is 2008, and still you have no pic posted? This is a site where most of us (?) are thinking that an actual physical encounter may come from all the chatting and flirting, right? So how can you expect anyone to want to meet you with out a pic? Help a sista out here, would ya?
Everyone - Profiles...Blank or minimal info on profile tends to make me think the person either is very boring or very lazy, neither a trait I am looking for in a potential playmate/partner in crime. Come people, put a little effort into in, especially if you are a paying member...why not get the most of this expiriment, eh?
Well, that was rather painless...not like some other first for me..haha
